Two Funny Things, at least to me

Mason has learned the art of sharing. He loves the whole give you something, take it back dance. Yeah, so, yesterday I called Jake from work around 4 to make plans for dinner. He answers the phone in a whisper. I ask if the baby is sleeping. He says "No, I am hiding from the baby, he wants to share everything with me".

The other funny thing happened today at work. One of my insured's told me "Either you are new at this or you just really suck at your job". I stifled a laugh and said "Yeah, it's probably a little of both".

OK, all I have to say is that I LOVE that Jake has an appreciation of day-in, day-out stuff like hiding from over-zealous I-love-this-new-skill cuties!!! I am glad to know that I am not the only parent that hides from their kids! Thanks for sharing!

Ka-
We started trying a month ago and he also refused. Then we just kept showing him how to use it. We put diluted juice in it and he thinks that a tasty alternative to milk. He really doesn't get the tipping back of the head part though. He'll put it in his mouth sitting up, suck on it for a second and then give me a look like "this one is broken". If I don't help him, he just tosses it to the side. So really, it's a work in progress.
